  • Maciej Dabrowski, PhD
    CEO
    Maciej holds a PhD in medical sciences and has published numerous articles in the fields of genomics, molecular genetics and cancer research. During his scientific career, Maciej has led various research grants and completed internships at renowned academic institutions in the UK and Italy. He was honoured with the Golden Helix Award by the Polish Human Genetics Association and received the Etiuda Scholarship from the National Science Center. Since 2018, Maciej has been actively involved in the development of the Polish biotech and start-up sector, leveraging his expertise to contribute to the growth and advancement of this dynamic industry.
  • Pawel Sztromwasser, PhD
    Head of Bioinformatics
    Pawel earned his doctorate at the University of Bergen, where he implemented whole-exome sequencing as a diagnostic method at the University Hospital in Bergen, Norway, and led bioinformatics efforts in the "1000 Polish Genomes" project. He has authored 50 publications in top journals like Nature and Nature Genetics, focusing on bioinformatics and genome analysis. In 2018, Paweł became CTO
    at MNM Diagnostics, where he developed genome-based tools for personalized cancer treatment and led a team of 20 specialists. Since 2023, he has served as Head of Bioinformatics at CruxBio, where he continues to advance cutting-edge diagnostic tools. Pawel’s unique expertise combines deep knowledge of human genetics with programming, statistics, and large-scale data analysis.
  • Michal Gniot, PhD
    Senior Genome Analyst
    Michał is a biotechnologist with a PhD in medical sciences and certification as a medical laboratory scientist, specializing in molecular diagnostics and cancer biology. As an assistant professor at the Department of Hematology in Poznań, he has played a key role in both national and international projects focused on standardizing molecular assays for leukemia. At CruxBio, Michał is dedicated to analyzing genetic data to uncover the mechanisms of carcinogenesis and identify vulnerabilities in cancer. His work aims to translate complex genomic insights into practical applications, ultimately improving outcomes in cancer diagnostics and treatment.
